Resources for Writers
One of my favorite resources to recommend to writers is the #RevPit online manuscript revision contest. Full disclosure, I’m a #RevPit volunteer editor and board member. The contest is free and offers its annual winners a full developmental edit of their manuscripts. There are as many winners as we have volunteer freelance editors, which is usually in the high teens. Within the online writing community there’s an opportunity to meet new critique partners and form writing groups from the activities around the #RevPit annual contest and mini-events, so everyone who participates can be a winner. For more about #RevPit, please see the official website: https://reviseresub.com/
In addition to my work with #RevPit, I’m a frequent instructor of fiction writing topics. Please email me at Miranda@MirandaDarrow.com if you’d like me to present to your writing group (including online presentations).

I’m also a writing craft book and writing resource devotee. Let Book MD Editing review writing craft resources so you can figure out whether they might be helpful to you on your writing journey. I frequently refer clients to my favorite writing craft books or online resources for help with specific writing issues uncovered in their edits, and always updating my list of resources. I’m sharing my reviews here. Like all reviews, these reflect my opinions and my editing style.
If you are the author or content manager for a writing craft resource that you’d like reviewed, please email me at Miranda@MirandaDarrow.com
